Riply Video Publisher
Last updated: 2026-10-04
Riply Video Publisher is an internal command-line tool used only by the team behind Riply, an iOS app made by Tomoya Fujita (sole proprietor, Japan). It uploads Riply's own original short videos to Riply's own YouTube channel and schedules when they become public. It is not distributed, sold, or offered to anyone outside the Riply team.

Where it uploads
Only to Riply's own YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@riply_ai_app . The tool checks the channel before every upload and stops if it is a different channel.
What it does
- Signs in with Google (OAuth 2.0) to the Riply YouTube channel, with two permissions: upload videos (youtube.upload) and view the channel (youtube.readonly). Sign-in is limited to accounts of our own Google Workspace organization.
- Before every upload, shows exactly what will be sent: the channel, the file, the title, the description, the visibility (public, unlisted, private, or scheduled), the made-for-kids setting, and the altered or synthetic content disclosure, together with a confirmation code made from that content. Nothing is uploaded until the upload command is run again with that code (by the operator, or by the AI assistant on the operator's behalf), so only the content that was shown can be uploaded.
- Uploads one video per confirmation, with the YouTube Data API (videos.insert). It never changes the title or description it was given.
- Limits itself to at most 3 uploads per 24 hours, at least 60 minutes apart, and at most 3 videos becoming public per day. It refuses to upload the same file or title twice, and two uploads cannot run at the same time.
- Cannot delete or edit videos (it does not request those permissions).
Who operates it
The Riply operator (Tomoya Fujita), and the AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) to which the operator has delegated the day-to-day operation of the Riply channel. The assistant runs the tool on the operator's behalf, one reviewed video at a time, within the limits above. The operator authorized the tool with Google and can revoke it at any time.
